There are plenty of interesting creatures and monsters you can come across in this co-op horror game. But now Lethal Company fans have a new enemy idea and are begging for a Mimic type of creature.
I myself have even theorized about this idea before I found out others wanted this as well. With the strange variety of monsters already available in this Early Access game, a Mimic is a fitting idea.
Not only have I seen a Reddit post about this idea, but there are also a few Steam discussions. “Goldie” on this discussion post talks about the Mimic enemy being a cool idea to another level of paranoia. We already have the Eyeless Dog, which makes you afraid to talk or make noise. Then there’s the little girl in the red dress, who only one person can see at a time.
The idea of a Mimic would be that they’d look exactly like a teammate of yours with the name tag and everything. The player in this discussion also thinks having it wait before attacking would be cool. Imagine you’re running around with who you think is your friend, but in reality, it’s the monster pretending to be them.
And what if it took phrases you’ve said in-game and repeated them to lure other teammates? The Mimic idea has now spread across online discussions, and it seems players are in agreement that this is a cool idea.
Harkening back to this Reddit post, this player explained how it could take the form of a player they’ve killed. Then another fan in the replies said that the monitor back at the ship could make it seem like it’s the player, but the icon has a slight red hue to it.
Since the game is in Early Access, it wouldn’t be surprising to see new enemy types pop up in future updates. And now with Lethal Company’s surprising success, hopefully, the developer Zeekerss will consider community feedback and think about implementing a Mimic enemy.

A sim of both driving the trains as well as routing them, choosing cargo, and picking passengers, Railroader looks to appeal to both the sim crowd and the less-hardcore folks who enjoy games like Euro and American Truck Simulator—even roping in a few strategy and transport sim types who enjoy games like Transport Fever.

Racing games come and go, but the best of them manage to combine memorable visuals with fantastic handling and game modes. New Star GP is a racer that looks firmly to the past while crafting a racing game of the future, with retro-influenced visuals – think Sega classics like Virtua Racing and Daytona – but a thoroughly modern outlook. While it’s currently out in Early Access on PC, you can hop into a brand new demo on Xbox right now, all in preparation for the game’s release in 2024.
