Amid rising concerns and multiple legal battles of authors, publishers, and media houses over large language models (LLMs) using their copyrighted work to train AI systems, the New York Times has filed a lawsuit against OpenAI and Microsoft. The publisher has alleged that the two AI firms have been using the former's copyrighted published work unauthorized to train their respective AI models. This lawsuit has now heightened the conflict between publishers and AI companies, as regulatory institutions still try to figure out the right way to control and monitor the data AI models are trained on.

A well-liked figure from Game Awards past returned to the stage tonight to reveal her studio’s next project. Ikumi Nakamura and the team at Unseen are working on Kemuri, and even though it’s just a brief teaser, I’m already very intrigued.
The style looks fantastic, and I love the mix of an urban locale with spirits. Coming off Ghostwire: Tokyo, I guess it makes sense.
I’m very curious to see how this turns out, as showrunner Geoff Keighley mentioned before the trailer that Unseen has not signed for any platforms or publishers yet. It might be a while until Kemuri sees a launch, but I’m keen to see how it shapes up when it arrives.
