Ubisoft has appointed Cécile Russeil as executive vice president.
She will be in charge of communications, corporate affairs, diversity, inclusion, accessibility, resources, and legal at the firm.
Russeil joined the games company back in 1995 as lead legal counsel.
Throughout her career, she climbed the company ranks. She currently serves as chief legal officer at Ubisoft.
"I am incredibly motivated to bring together the leadership of these key functions in order to enhance our organizational agility and ensure seamless alignment between corporate affairs, communications, DIA, HR, and legal strategies across all our global operations," said Russeil.
Raptor PR has hired James Law as its new publication relations director.
In this role, Law will oversee the establishment of its new gaming PR division.
Throughout his career, he served as PR manager at Heaven and managing editor with Gfinity.

Sandsoft Games has announced a new round of appointments at the company.
Renny Rodriguez has been named analytics engineer at Sandsoft Barcelona. Before joining the firm, he spent one year as a data engineer at Scopely.
Mason Cheung has joined Sandsoft as a senior concept artist. He previously worked for Vela Games for three years as a senior concept designer and artist.
Meanwhile, Dylan Cheung has been appointed senior concept artist at Sandsoft. During his career, he held the role of concept artist at Digit Game Studios and worked with the Star Trek: Fleet Command maker for four years.
Team 17 has appointed Ann Hurley as general manager of its gaming label.
She joined the company back in October 2023 in a temporary role to lead the Team 17 Digital division.
Hurley's career in the games industry includes an eight-year stint at Testronic. She joined the company as head of games business development and last served as senior vice president of sales and marketing before exiting the company.
