When you first approach the Banana Shrine, nothing will happen. That's because you need to bring a banana as an offering to activate the jungle altar properly. Bananas are rare but useful, so it's important to try to pick them up whenever you see them. 's bananas are most prominent on Ginger Island but can also be grown at home. If placed in your greenhouse, they will produce bananas all year long.
Once you have a banana, you can head back to the Shrine on Ginger Island and interact with it. The two torchers will light up and will be rewarded with 3 Golden Walnuts for the banana.
The Banana Shrine is now complete, and you can save your remaining bananas for gifts and cooking. Everyone in likes bananas except for Vincent, Jas, Abigail, and Haley, and they sell for 150g-300g depending on quality.
