miHoYo has announced that Honkai: Star Rail’s next big update, Version 1.6, “Crown of the Mundane and Divine,” will go live on December 27th. It adds two new five-star characters – Ruan Mei and Dr. Ratio – and a new four-star character, Xueyi. Check out the trailer below.
The update sees a new area in Herta Space Station, the Seclusion Zone, opening up with a prototype Swarm King as a boss fight. The Simulated Universe sees an update in Gold and Gears, which simulates Nous and includes the Path of Erudition. This time, you get one dice that can equip up to six Dice Face effects, with new ones unlocked via Trailblaze Secrets.
If that weren’t enough, new stages for the Forgotten Hall, Pure Fiction, the Critter Pick Scavenging event (which involves raising various small creatures) and quality of life changes will also be added. Stay tuned for more details on Version 1.6 as we near its release.

Given how packed 2023 was, it’s only natural that some games were going to fall below the radar for many, and as it turns out, Focus Entertainment and Deck13’s action RPG Atlas Fallen turned out to be one of them. It launched for PC and current-gen consoles in August to lukewarm reception, and it seems that’s been reflected in its sales as well.
HoYoverse recently dropped details and a new trailer for Honkai: Star Rail version 1.6 ‘Crown of the Mundane and Divine’ during the game’s latest ‘Special Program’ livestream.
The version 1.6 update for Honkai: Star Rail, dubbed “Crown of the Mundane and Divine,” will launch on December 27, developer miHoYo announced.
HoYoverse has hosted the next major livestream for Honkai: Star Rail’s upcoming v1.6 update, named Crown of the Mundane and Divine, which is scheduled to release on 27th December. Another colossal update for the uber-popular gacha, the content will include three new playable characters, fresh story content, and a previously unseen environment on the Herta Space Station. But the developer also teased content further into the future, including the new planet, Penacony.
Deck 13's Atlas Fallen didn't exactly light the world on fire when it launched in August. Granted, it was kind of smashed between giants (Baldur's Gate 3 and Starfield, for example), but the reception from users and critics was still underwhelming.
Naughty Dog has announced that it has officially ended development on The Last of Us Online, with the studio explaining that the decision was made so it could continue to focus on crafting the narrative-driven single player experiences it’s known for. And interestingly enough, it turns out there are more than one of those games in development at Naughty Dog right now.
