A new ability in may be the most game-breaking one ever, according to new Version 2.1 leaks. Currently, the RPG is in the early stages of Version 2.0, represented by the release of Penacony as a destination, as well as the continuation of the Traiblaze Missions. The main story is now set in the Land of Dreams, as the Trailblazer and the rest of the Astral Express crew are invited by the Family to attend the Charmony Festival. Although the game is still weeks away from the next patch, the upcoming playable characters have already been announced.
Announced in a series of posts on the official account on X, HoYoverse revealed that the next characters to arrive in the turn-based RPG are Acheron, Aventurine, and Gallagher. All these characters appeared as NPCs in the main story of Version 2.0, but are confirmed to be playable characters in Version 2.1. Acheron is a 5-star Lightning Nihility hero, while Aventurine is a 5-star Imaginary Preservation unit. Gallagher, on the other hand, will be a 4-star Fire Abundance healer. Now, new leaks about these characters hint at what may become the most broken ability in the game.
According to a rumored early version of Acheron’s gameplay kit obtained by HomDGCat and shared by a user on Reddit, the 5-star Nihility unit may be capable of one-shooting some opponents. As seen in the description of her ability, Acheron’s Technique will allow her to attack an opponent on the map and, by doing so, instantly defeat them. Being able to immediately wipe opponents is a very broken skill and one that can alter the course of gameplay and combat in. It is, however, subject to failures, as described in the leak that features her Technique.
The leaks mention that, if Acheron’s Technique is unsuccessful in eliminating the target, it will instead initiate combat by dealing Lightning DMG to all the opponents in the opening phase, as well as grant her Energy Points, which are rumored to be an exclusive part of her kit.
Despite how game-breaking it may be in its concept, Acheron’s ability to instantly defeat opponents with the use of her Technique will likely be met by several types of limitations. The description of the ability already mentions that it is prone to be unsuccessful, which may indicate that some types of enemies are immune to it. This would unlikely be dictated by the category and family type of the enemy, but instead by their ranking. Boss-like opponents are probably going to be immune to Acheron’s rumored Technique. This would make several of the difficult combats in skippable.
Echoes of War bosses, also known as weekly bosses, will likely be unaffected by Acheron’s leaked Technique. When players initiate a battle, they do not have a chance to use active Techniques on

The world of is full of scheming villains and horrific evildoers, but sometimes, the characters that are the easiest to hate aren't the ones that are doing the most wicked deeds. Although General Ketheric Thorm is one of the game's most diabolical characters, for example, the iconic vocal performance from J.K. Simmons and crackling dialogue make it easy for him to go down as a favorite. On the other hand, some equally well-portrayed characters just feature such annoying characteristics that comparatively good intentions can't save them from being the punching bags of the community.

As in Genshin Impact, five-star characters usually have higher stats than four-star units; however, their drop rates are much lower. Frankly, there is not that big difference between the two types of banners, as both can be useful depending on which team composition they are a part of.
