Even though its release is nearly two years away. Grand Theft Auto 6 or GTA 6 has already started shattering records. The GTA 6 trailer went live on December 4 and it amassed a staggering 93 million views in the first 24 hours, breaking the record for most views in the initial 24-hour period for a non-music video, overtaking the previous record of YouTuber Mr. Beast. Florida's real-life Joker calls out Rockstar over apparent cameo in GTA 6 trailer: 'We gotta talk'

Innocent, dew-eyed babe that I am, I had no idea that the heavily tatted criminal who makes a brief appearance in the Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer looked like a real guy. But he does, and now I will live with that knowledge until my last days. He resembles Florida Joker—real name Lawrence Sullivan—a resident of, uh, Florida with face tattoos and hair inspired by Jared Leto's portrayal of the Joker, who originally went viral for a 2017 mugshot.

I'm typically sceptical of trailer scrubbers—and there are a hell of a lot of them with Grand Theft Auto 6. Can't blame them, obviously, it's been 10 whole years since we last got a GTA game.

Florida Joker Has Called Out Rockstar After His GTA 6 Trailer Appearance

Grand Theft Auto 6's highly-anticipated trailer was released earlier this week, though you probably didn't need to be told that at this point. What you may not know is that fans quickly discovered a lot of the wacky scenes from the trailer are actually based on real-life people and events that occurred in the state of Florida. One such example is the purple-haired convict with tattoos all over his face, a reference to the infamous Florida Joker whose mug shot went viral back in 2017.

GTA VI Not Launching on PC is Likely Due to Series Fans Being Notorious Double Dippers

Yesterday, after literally years of speculation, rumors, and leaks, Rockstar finally dropped the first teaser for Grand Theft Auto VI. The trailer has gone over well for the most part, although some were surprised to note that the game will only be launching on Xbox Series X/S and PS5, not PC. Rockstar has made a habit of this over the years, but the industry has changed and outside of console exclusives either developed or paid for by Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft, it’s extremely rare these days for a big AAA game to be released exclusively on console without a PC version. May as well grab those extra bucks from PC players at launch, right? So, why are Rockstar and Take Two Interactive sticking with the console-first approach when almost everyone else has abandoned it?
