If you’re interested in the Grand Theft Auto franchise, you know it’s been an incredibly long wait for Grand Theft Auto VI. The video game is in development, but we haven’t seen anything official on what exactly the new game will offer. However, some details were unveiled to the public thanks to a series of leaks. With that said, we have a new map created thanks to these leaks, and if this map is accurate, we’re looking at quite a massive playground for players to explore.
Thanks to Comicbook.com, we’re finding out about a recent map creation from a Reddit user. The map was created from the revisions made by another creator’s post. Essentially, the map is more speculation of what the map could look like from the leaked videos that emerged online last year. What you want to make note of is that this map could be quite large. It’s noted that we could see a map that is over 2,300 range units longer than what we had with Grand Theft Auto V. Of course, that is more speculative as we’re having to rely on the fact that there weren’t any significant changes from the leaked videos and that the content showcased is painting an accurate picture of the finalized map for the game.
While details are essentially nonexistent from Rockstar Games, we do know that Grand Theft Auto VI will be set in Vice City. The return to the Miami vibe of the Grand Theft Auto scenery was unveiled through the leaked videos. That should make quite a nice change of pace from those who were getting a bit tired of the Los Santos location featured in Grand Theft Auto V and the multiplayer component, Grand Theft Auto Online. But again, we’re left waiting on Rockstar Games to make the game’s grand reveal.
There’s no shortage of rumors on when Grand Theft Auto VI will be unveiled. However, Rockstar Games has yet to make direct teases to highlight when we’ll see the game. With as much time that has passed since Grand Theft Auto V, there are likely quite a few fans that have placed high expectations on the next game. We even had a previous voice actor behind Grand Theft Auto V that has hyped up the numbers we could see when Grand Theft Auto VI does launch. After all, when Grand Theft Auto V launched, it set some impressive milestone numbers in just a matter of days.
