Stellar Blade is just around the corner, with the eagerly-anticipated action game arriving exclusively on PS5 on 26th April. If the wait is proving too much to bear, we've been given a glimpse at some of the game's fearsome Naytiba, which will serve as climactic boss encounters in the game.
While we only see the outlines of several disturbingly shaped monstrosities, we get the impression that the real deal will be nightmare fuel worth of the term. A quote from Shift Up game director Kim Hyung Tae at the start of the video seems incredibly apt: «When creatures don't conform to the human form, they elicit discomfort due to fundamental differences in appearance.»
In other Stellar Blade news, Hyung Tae recently emphasised the importance of single-player video games with an ending having a «very important value» in the industry. Shift Up also recently employed a famous Korean cheerleader to cosplay as Stellar Blade protagonist Eve.

Really excited for this one!
Yeah imo those are some cool looking monster designs and apparently they were made out of clay first and then scanned into the game.
I enjoyed the demo, so will be picking it up at some point. I don't need to see anymore of the game however.
@MrMagic ...that's the coolest thing I've heard about this game. Like Doom. Neat.
@LikelySatan Yeah it is on the playstation blog now. They hired someone famous from Korean cinema to design the monsters for them out of clay and then scanned them in.
He's worked on some Korean movies like The Host. I've never seen it but I checked rotten tomatoes and it has a 93% score from critics.
@MrMagic The Host is a fantastic film.
This game is shipping up greatly for having a sex doll for a protagonist. Is that why so many creeps like the game? Does it really have nothing to do with the combat and gameplay or story? What a sad lot.
Bring on April 26th!
@Yorozayu you're the only one here saying that creeps are into the game, sooooo...
@LikelySatan I guess you’ve been missing all the comments from the lonely boys who are frothing at the gash at Eve’s character design.
They don’t even focus on the cool setting, how well it performs, the great gameplay or how the game is drawing inspiration from biblical mythology.
