Genshin Impact Update 4.6 Seems to Have Made a Change Not Mentioned in the Patch Notes

An interesting revenue chart shows the April sales numbers for HoYoverse's two most popular titles, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail. Both games run on a gacha-based system, allowing players to acquire new characters by pulling on the limited character banners.

A new Genshin Impact leak has revealed the original concept art for one of the most popular characters in the game, Lady Furina, also known as Focalors and the Hydro Archon. Furina made her first in-game appearance during Version 4.0, which introduced the long-awaited region known as Fontaine.

A new Genshin Impact leak reveals an interesting change to Arlecchino that should go live in the upcoming Version 4.7. Arlecchino was introduced to the game in the first phase of the current update 4.6 alongside another five-star Pyro user, Fontaine's famous magician Lyney.

Arlecchino’s true origins in have just been revealed by a small hidden detail within the game. The Fatui Harbinger also known as the Knave has just been released as a fully playable character after nearly a year of waiting – for reference, Arlecchino was featured in multiple leaks long before her debut as an NPC in the Fontaine questline. The character’s release in Version 4.6 also coincided with the release of her very first Character Quest arc, which revealed a lot of information about Arlecchino and her past self, when she was formerly known as Peruere.

A portion of Clorinde’s materials has leaked ahead of her release in 4.7, many of which players can already start pre-farming to avoid trouble when they grab her from the character banners when the patch arrives. Clorinde is Fontaine’s Champion Duelist and former escort to Furina – she has played an important role in the Nation of Justice’s questline alongside Wriothesley and even Neuvillette and is finally becoming playable. Clorinde is one of the confirmed characters in 4.7, along with Sigewinne and Sethos. So far, nothing other than their Vision has been officially revealed.

Sigewinne may end up becoming one of ’s weirdest healers yet if new Version 4.7 leaks are to be taken into consideration. The head nurse of the Fortress of Meropide has long been an NPC in the Fontaine storyline but is now being added to the game as a playable character following several updates since her original debut. Alongside Clorinde and Sethos, Sigewinne is one of the three new and confirmed characters in 4.7. In spite of this, it will still take a while for players to even catch a glimpse of her official gameplay.

A big feature said to arrive in 4.7 already has one big problem that may be difficult to circumvent. Version 4.6 is still underway and players are now allowed to explore a new small area to the south of Fontaine, which contains a secret and massive underwater area that deepens the lore of the region, as that underwater section contains the ruins of the ancient kingdom of Remuria. The current patch also added some enticing Character Quests and, in addition, the playable version of Arlecchino in , who had long been awaited, even before Fontaine’s release.

Clorinde will reportedly be an Electro DPS, while Sigewinne will scale off HP and serve as a healer. Sethos, on the other hand, is expected to be a four-star Electro applicator similar to Fischl.

While there is still a lot to do in the current patch, eyes are turned toward the next update.
