Inscryption up to challenge level 8 on Kaycee’s mod now. The mantis god starter deck is kind of overpowered, particularly if you can get the flying sigil on it, but I don’t care. Quite fun playing around with other decks though.

Uncharted 4 really is incredible. I first played it straight after I got my PS4 but playing it now on the PS5 after playing through the other games was a totally different experience. One of the most emotionally mature games out there, honestly puts The Last of Us to shame. It’s incredibly meta as well, the way the game ruminates on the franchise and what it stands for, Nathan’s line about how he feels empty after every treasure hunt, only to throw himself into another one really speaks to the nature of game development. You complete the game and then want another, fundamentally following the same structure. At some point we have to just let go and say yep, that’s the last adventure. Although I’m very excited to play the Lost Legacy as other people can have those adventures, just not Nathan!
I'm currently playing Uncharted 4 after seeing my brother play it twice since launch. It is still spectacular and I actually really like the run and gun, platformer style combat. We need more linear focused action games.
I just beat Sea of Stars last week which was a 7/10 and Norco which was a 9/10.
I rolled the credits on Inscryption a couple of nights ago.
A clever, weird, but enjoyable deck builder that really messes with you and the genre. The story is intentionally a bit vague but cleverly done too. It’s the first game on a while that I won’t be getting the plat for though as the Kaycee mod trophies are way too time consuming.
For other people who have completed it, have you read about the Inscryption “ARG” (alternative reality game)? Some crazy things people went though to unlock a “secret ending”.

@Thrillho Glad you enjoyed it also! It totally subverted my expectations on quite a few occasions, so was pleasantly surprised by it.
I've admittedly not looked into any of the secret endings.
@JohnnyShoulder It’s not the secret ending itself (it’s quite underwhelming) but how on earth anyone thought of such bizarre and obtuse puzzles, let alone then solve it.
@Thrillho Ah OK, I'll have a read of that then!
Lies of P.
Really great game, despite the late game difficulty spike in a few of the enemies and bosses. It’s a really solid game and does a lot of things really well. The Fable Arts on a lot of the weapons are extremely satisfying when you land them and the story has a few twists and revelations along the way that I didn’t see coming.
Of course there are resemblances to Bloodborne and even Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, but it’s a unique take on the genre and I’d put it right up there as one of the best soulslikes out there.

Hi, maybe someone can help me… I tried lot of things and no solutions!! I have 4 wireless buzz buzzers for my playstation 2 and some games used for these controllers (original and Iso). Anyway, I can´t seem to get them to sync and be recognized on my PS2 (fat one). I´ve done some searching around on various forums and the Google and what little info I´ve found hasn´t helped. Do you have any suggestion about getting these things synchronized? Basically, I´ve gotten them so they are all solid blue light, then hit the sync button on the dongle and they all flash and then no lights are on (neither on the buzzers or dongle). I thought this meant it was set, but the game is not recognizing the controllers. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
So far I’m happy with my original disc drive PS5. The size is off-putting, and I do wish it were smaller, but the overall design has grown on me and I like the uniqueness of it.
@AgentCooper I thought AC1 was pants when I played it on the PS3 and I didn't get very far before it went off to fleabay. Not knowing what happened didn't stop me enjoying AC2 which was a vastly improved sequel.
I technically never stopped playing retro games. When I had my Gamecube, I was still playing games on my SNES. However, around that time, I also bought an NES. The games I got with it – games like Total Recall and Kid Icarus – had me convinced that I just hated games on the NES. It wasn’t until I was introduced to a couple of games on this list, that retro gaming truly opened up to me.
@AgentCooper I love it when I stumble on a game and it has that effect… hopefully it’ll continue throughout your playthrough. Haven’t played the game myself but it does interest me so I’ll keep my eye out for your thoughts as you progress.

I Finished The Republic by Plato, Fascinating read. Also Read volume 1 of FullMetal Alchemist today and started Meantime by Frankie Boyle, 8 chapters in and brilliantly funny so far.
Hi everyone, I need some recommendation on how to setup gaming night for 12-16 people.
