@RR529 Enjoy! The way you described Wicked City reminded of the Cryin Freeman manga I watched back in the day, sans the demons and supernatural elements.

got a mixed reception from fans. The MCU sequel extended the wacky and comedic tone of Thor: Ragnarok further. However, in a recent interview, actor Chris Hemsworth expressed some regret over this direction for the movie and talked about where he feels the project went wrong.
Following Thor’s character growth in Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame, Thor: Love and Thunder took the character’s journey in an unexpected direction.
In an interview with Vanity Fair’s Karen Valby, Chris Hemsworth talked about what did not work for his fourth solo outing as the God of Thunder. He expressed his regrets about focussing more on comedy in the sequel. He explained:
“I got caught up in the improv and the wackiness, and I became a parody of myself. I didn’t stick the landing.”
Earlier in the interview, Hemsworth described why he grew frustrated with playing Thor. He stated that the other Avengers had better character arcs, while he as Thor only “felt like a security guard for the team.”
Then, Thor: Ragnarok tweaked the character. It allowed Chris Hemsworth to use his natural comedic gifts for the part.
But following Thor’s three-movie arc in Ragnarok, Infinity War, and Endgame, the character went almost entirely comedic in Love and Thunder. Combining this with the more serious story arcs of Jane Foster and Gorr the God Butcher produced mixed results for fans of Thor’s previous MCU appearances.
Thor: Love and Thunder’s critical and commercial reception wasn’t as great as Chris Hemsworth’s previous three MCU movies. After the release of the film, Hemsworth spoke to Josh Horowitz for the Happy Sad Confused Podcast and said that he thinks that Thor needs a drastic tonal shift moving forward.

Aaron Rodgers will be facing a familiar opponent, albeit in a different uniform and in a new location.
Like a war over gas in a post-apocalyptic landscape, the franchise-fatigue debate rages on, with multiple factions claiming that sequels, prequels, and superhero films are killing the cinematic landscape, while others claim the smoke doesn’t lead to fire, and the entire battle is overblown. The latest salvo in the war — which is to say, the latest prequel extending a decades-long franchise — is Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, a prequel nearly a decade in the making. But where long experience with franchise logic would lead us to expect director George Miller to offer up a louder, bigger retread of its predecessor, the groundbreaking Mad Max: Fury Road, Miller dares to ignore that expectation. He blazes a brave, exploratory trail with a searing film that refuses to play by any of the tried, tested, and tired rules that franchise films follow.
Around three weeks after the beginning of public testing, indie developer Iron Gate released the long-awaited Valheim Ashlands update on live servers. However, the Microsoft Store and Xbox versions have been delayed due to unforeseen issues:
Do you love the smell of napalm in the morning? If so, you'll probably love the smell of Valheim's Ashlands biome, which has just launched for all players after a period of beta testing. Sadly, my computer is incapable of producing smells beyond a faint reek of encrusted pasta sauce and regret, but if it did, I imagine I'd even now be basking in the aroma of burning bone and feather, because that is what the 10 new creatures you'll meet in the Ashlands consist of, broadly. Shout-out in particular for the monster that resembles a combusting sink clog with spider legs. Very Possum-esque.
Through subsidiary Crystal Dynamics, Embracer Group has penned a new deal with Amazon MGM Studios to create new Tomb Raider media for streaming and film.
Valheim is a fantastic sandbox survival game, set in a fantastical 10th realm of the Norse afterlife. Adventurers explore from the peaceful meadows out into more dangerous biomes, and today, the most dangerous one yet is available to explore. The last biome update was the Mistlands; today, players can venture out into the Ashlands.
