Before Your Eyes devs form new studio Nice Dream Games

May is finally here, and with it comes a slate of some of the year’s most anticipated movie premieres. Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, I Saw The TV Glow, and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes are this month’s must-see theatrical releases, but if you’re looking for the best movies new to streaming on Netflix, Hulu, Max, and more this May, you’ve come to the right place.

In The War Within, Engineers will be able to craft Potion Bombs, powerful external potion buffs that augment small groups of players within range. These Potion Bombs currently come in three different types: DPS, Movement Speed, and Healing. Using a Potion Bomb is simple — use it as you would any other consumable, choose your target area, and buff your allies while damaging enemies caught in the radius. While Engineers are the only ones able to produce these new support consumables, anyone — even non-Engineers — can use them to help their group. Blizzard described these new consumables in their recent Alpha Notes for The War Within:

's massive new Ashlands update adds so much content that it is worth revisiting for multiple reasons. The indie Viking survival game first launched in 2021 and was an instant success. Eight days after the initial release, the game had already sold over eight million copies, ensuring a future for the standout title. Since then, has had one other large update at the end of 2022 with the Mistlands, but this new update appears to add even more — and will change the survival game forever.

The co-creators of BAFTA-winning Before Your Eyes have created a new studio called Nice Dream Games.

Publisher Skybound Games and developer Nice Dream, a Los Angeles-based studio founded by the co-creators of Before Your Eyes, have announced Goodnight Universe, a narrative adventure game in which you play as a six-month-old baby with psychic abilities. Platforms and a release date were not announced. The game will take part in Tribeca Games Festival 2024 from June 12 to 16.

Fallout is more popular than ever, and that's all down to Lucy and the gang's trek through post-apocalyptic Los Angeles in Amazon's TV show. It's convinced more people than ever to check out the series for the first time, with many confused as to which game they should start with. Fallout New Vegas is as good a place as any, widely considered the best in the series, but just be aware that the fanbase is full of evil, cruel individuals.

As the weather (hopefully) turns nicer and the days get longer, it’s hard to think about being inside watching TV. Which is why it’s good that this week’s offerings are so easy to pop on at your leisure: Whether it’s the charms of Netflix’s Dead Boy Detectives — based on a comic written by Neil Gaiman — or the hard-won pleasures of Shōgun’s final episode, or even the fighting spirit of We’re Here season 4 or Knuckles, there’s a lot to love this week.
