Baldur’s Gate 3: Should You Kill The Newborn Mind Flayer In The Abandoned Windmill?

Per the lore, githyanki were originally part of an artificial race, created and enslaved by Illithids. They eventually rose up against their oppressors, and have been locked in battle ever since. Their martial culture celebrates those who take as many githyanki heads as possible. The githyanki may seem like the right choice on the surface. They're a playable, humanoid race, and they fight for a noble cause. However, either decision at this critical moment can have resounding consequences that can change the ending of .

While the most straightforward path to gaining power is leveling up or improving equipment, has another method of allowing playable characters to become more powerful — gaining access to unique illithid powers. As a result of the game's conflict with mind flayers, and the illithid tadpoles residing in (almost) every playable character's head, offers the opportunity to lean further into the power granted by the tadpoles. However, this power comes at a potential cost, as taking on the additional powers goes against one of the game's main goals — to get rid of the tadpoles and stop any future mind flayer transformations.

Wyll has been stuck in his contract with Mizora in Baldur’s Gate 3. She has been holding his deal throughout the entire game and is the one who gives him access to a variety of Warlock powers. Eventually, she does give him a choice to break the contract with her, but at a price.

Life By You might be a game that’s technically within the life simulator genre, but it could just as easily be a god game. Yes, it’s challenging The Sims’ crown, and many people will surely play it as a drop-in replacement, but this game’s design is so inherently customisable and mod-able that you barely have to play within the “rules” if you don’t want to. At every stage, you can inject your whims and desires into Life By You for the ultimate in role-playing fantasy.
