Baldur’s Gate 3 Hotfix #5 – Minthara Gets Some Love & Bug Fixes Smooth Gameplay

Baldur’s Gate 3 has become a phenomenon since it launched last month, being heralded for its unique cast of characters, in-depth battle system and clever writing. Yet, even as one of the most highly-rated video games of all time, the D&D RPG hasn’t been able to shake off a slew of issues, from CPU slowdown to frame rate drops, which occur the longer you progress into the game. While developer Larian Studios has been consistent with its fixes and updates, the third act is still riddled with issues, but this Baldur’s Gate 3 DLSS 3 mod may be exactly what Baldur’s Gate 3 needs.

Even in the pre-release review period for Armored Core 6, I didn’t encounter any major bugs. That’s kind of rare in this current AAA landscape, but that doesn’t mean they don’t exist! Thankfully, From Software is planning on swiftly addressing some snafus with a variety of patches, and we’re already three updates in at this point.

Baldur’s Gate 3 has a host of companions for players to romance. There are so many that seeing all of them alone justifies multiple playthroughs, especially for those who look for a bit of evil in their partners.

We all remember the Microsoft Paint app from our childhood. It used to be one of the first few programs new users of Windows would stumble upon and experiment with before the Internet took over the world. And while the Paint app has been redesigned over the years and new features added, it has pretty much remained the same. But now things are changing! Microsoft has added some advanced Photoshop-like features such as transparency and layers to allow users to create more complex artwork.

Cygames hosted a special Japanese livestream for its upcoming Granblue Fantasy games earlier today, showcasing gameplay from both Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising (out in November) and Granblue Fantasy: Relink (out in February). The broadcast, which lasted over an hour (and can be watched with English subtitles), starts off with Versus, detailing the fighter's new characters, certain gameplay mechanics, and the title's wonderfully daft Fall Guys-esque platforming minigame, which can be played online.

Blizzard has released a new Patch 1.1.4 hotfix, increasing experience gain in higher World Tiers and fixing the Seeds of Hatred bug! Players have been clamoring for a return of the Bonus Experience Weekend, and this seems to be a compromise when combined with the recent increase to the Urn of Aggression.

Bethesda says it will be releasing regular updates for Starfield with a view to adding several quality-of-life improvements and community-requested features (including support for DLSS), but before that, the developer has pushed out a smaller hotfix that addresses some more critical bugs in the game.

If you thought the comfy game couldn’t get any warmer, it has. With a huge serving size of more features, an entirely new temple to explore, and plenty of fixes to make the game more polished, Palia is now bigger and more entertaining of a world than ever in the 0.168 upgraded version. Quality fixes, as well as the dev team squishing a few bugs, were the emphasis on this patch, so we have plenty to share with you concerning the current state of Palia and those who call it home.

Baldur's Gate 3 is a gorgeous game. So gorgeous in fact, that many are struggling to run it in Act 3, but I digress. It also has a bunch of companions that are very pleasing to the eye, and judging by our activity online, many of us have already filled up our capture library with screenshots of their pretty faces. Thankfully, that's going to get a whole lot easier.

Riding a second wave of sterling reviews that are somehow even better on PS5 than on PC, Baldur's Gate 3 is now getting the cartoon treatment, and the game's best companions already look and sound great.
