Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced April 2024’s PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue and Classics titles.
Unlike April’s PlayStation Plus Essential games, which are available for all subscribers to claim, Game Catalogue’s downloadable PS4 and PS5 titles are only available for Extra and Premium tier members.
As previously announced, this month’s additions include Dave the Diver and Tales of Kenzera: Zau. Newly announced titles include The Crew 2, Construction Simulator, Nour: Play With Your Food and Deliver Us Mars.
Animal Well will also join the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue when it’s released on May 9.
PlayStation Plus Premium also offers a selection of PS1, PS2 and PSP games to download, and PS3 games via cloud streaming.
Confirming recent leaks, April’s additions to the Classics Catalogue include Star Wars: Rebel Assault II: The Hidden Empire and MediEvil. They’ll be joined by Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare.
All of the games listed below will be available beginning on April 16, unless otherwise noted.
Sony has made four new game trials available to PlayStation Plus Premium members.
Sony routinely adds new games to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, a curated library of PS4 and PS5 titles that’s accessible to those subscribed to PlayStation Plus’ Extra and Premium tiers at no additional cost. As is the case with all such subscription services though, the PS Plus Game Catalog’s library of games is a rolling one that also routinely sees games being removed.
Seven games in the Final Fantasy series are leaving the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue next month.
Subscribers to the Extra tier of the PlayStation Plus subscription service should note that seven Final Fantasy games are set to leave the lineup on May 21, with 18 other titles getting the boot as well. Those who are signed up to the Essential tier of PlayStation Plus can keep those games forever as long as they stay subscribed, but the games that make up the Extra and Premium tiers are available on a rotating basis.
Sony has revealed the slate of games joining the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in April. In the coming weeks, PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium tier members will get access to deep-sea exploration RPG Dave the Diver, Metroidvania action title Tales of Kenzera: Zau, indie platformer Animal Well, open-world racing title Crew 2, action platformer Raji: An Ancient Epic and more. Most of these games will be available on the PS Plus catalogue on April 16. Tales of Kenzera: Zau and Animal Well, on the other hand, will join the service as day-one launch titles on April 23 and May 9, respectively.
PlayStation Plus subscribers have a lot to look forward to in the near future, and May 9 is one date that marks a particularly exciting addition to the service. PlayStation Plus offers both a rotating library of monthly games and, on its Extra and Premium tiers, a less transient catalog of titles both classic and new. Accessing any PlayStation Plus perks requires a subscription, but that also throws online access for multiplayer services and more into the mix.
Sony has officially confirmed 12 games that will be joining the Extra tier of its PlayStation Plus subscription service in April 2024. Thanks to previous release date announcements, PlayStation Plus subscribers already knew about two of the games coming to PS Plus Extra ahead of time.

Rely on your wits in Animal Well, slip into a wetsuit with Dave the Diver and journey through mystical 2.5D realms in Tales of Kenzera: Zau. All three games launch onto PlayStation as part of the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog. And there are even more games joining April’s Game Catalog lineup. Let’s take a closer look at each. Aside from Animal Well and Tales of Kenzera: Zau, all titles will be available on April 16.
