There are several new pieces of information stemming from the demo and its related developer interviews, indicating many character and story surprises, as well as new and improved gameplay features. The title is a direct sequel to and will continue telling the story of Cloud and his Avalanche companions as they venture through Gaia after the destruction of a large portion of Midgar. While it bases itself mainly on what was built with, it will add several new features that make the game feel fresh in comparison to its predecessor, especially because of how the world to be explored is presented this time around. As the tale develops, players will also encounter new characters that will become allies – some of which were available in the original game, while others may be brand-new additions.

One of the most appealing attractions in is that Sephiroth will be a playable character. Although he is the title’s main villain, he will be featured as an ally in flashbacks of Cloud’s past in the SOLDIER program, much like he did in the classic 1997 game. This time around, however, Sephiroth will be controllable.
The character is completely playable during these sections, and players will be able to completely ignore Cloud if they prefer to simply utilize Sephiroth and his overly large katana. The fact that he is not only aiding Cloud but 100% controllable in the real-time action reinterpretation of the classic game is of great gameplay value.

Stellaris is probably my favorite grand strategy game of all time, so when I saw developer Fast Travel Games was creating a standalone VR roguelite set in the Stellaris universe, I immediately became interested. I’ll admit, I don’t have too much experience with VR. But the idea of a Stellaris story with its many species, systems, and space structures sounded like the perfect fit for VR. Ghost Signal: A Stellaris Story steps away from grand strategy and instead puts players in control of a single ship as they traverse systems dealing with threats, acquiring upgrades, and tracking down the Ghost Signal.
We need to have a disc-ussion about how big video games have become.
It’s interesting how much information is coming out about Final Fantasy VII Rebirth in recent weeks, given that the title won’t launch until early next year. It’s possible that Square Enix doesn’t want you to forget about the game and thus build up the hype for many months until it’s at a “fever pitch.” Or they just think that right now is the best time to do the reveals! Either way works in the minds of gamers. The good news is that today was one of those “reveal days” because plenty of information was dropped about the title.
Several new details about 1.4 have been revealed, including its release date, the PlayStation 5 launch, the character banners planned for the version’s six weeks of content, story missions, events, and much more. As a live-service game, the turn-based RPG by HoYoverse regularly receives updates, which grants players more to explore and do. Much of the information was revealed during a special program, which also featured the limited 1.4 livestream codes. In terms of story, the game will pick up after the events presented in Version 1.3, which showcased the aftermath of the Trailblazers efforts to control the Stellaron crisis.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is going to be a massive game, and now we have a better idea of how bigger the Eastern Continent will be, compared to the original game.
In sad news for fans of legendary characters, Square Enix has confirmed to IGN what was likely always going to be the case: that everyone's favourite edgy gunslinger will be an AI companion in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and not fully playable, just like Red XIII in Final Fantasy VII Remake. The same goes for the chain-smoking pilot, Cid, who remains elusive, hard to define, and thus highly cool.
When Square Enix decided to not only remake one of the best RPGs ever but divide it into several parts to truly flesh out the story and characters, there would always be “sacrifices” in each game that players would have to deal with. In the case of the first remake title, one of the sacrifices was limiting the story to the Midgar saga and thus restricting who you could get in your party. The original title only let you control Cloud, Tifa, Barret, and Aerith. However, in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, many more characters will be available to you for use in combat. That includes the epic Red XIII.
The highly-anticipated second part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, has received 19 minutes of TGS 2023 gameplay.
Fan favorite Final Fantasy VII character, Vincent Valentine, got a bit of spotlight in the launch date reveal trailer for Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth. However, that doesn’t mean you’ll get the chance to control the hockey-haired ex-Turk. Square-Enix has stated in a Q&A posted by Game Informer that, while Vincent will join the party, he will be relegated to the sidelines.
This season of American Horror Story opened with the most shocking premiere ever: nary a dead body, faceless ghost, or blood spill in sight.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth won't let you directly control Vincent or Cid.
