EA Sports celebrated the release of EA Sports FC 24 by announcing how 11.3 million players tackled the football video game in its first week of release, which is a million more than FIFA 23 managed last year. For all intents and purposes, this symbolises how the rebrand from FIFA to EA Sports FC didn’t harm the franchise one bit – despite naysayers predicting doom and gloom without the football governing body’s muscle behind it.

Its’s Saturday morning and I’d like to apologise that this review should have been done a few days ago, life goes dam fast and sometimes things get in the way.
Anyways let’s start the morning of with a review of Whateverland, get ya coffee and your toast at the ready.
Whateverland is a point and click adventure game that begins with a very interesting narrative that pulls you into the game, you start with our lovely villain called Vincent who is caught stealing a necklace and is therefore banished to the wonderful world of Whateverland.
When on his arrival he meets a ghost ( Not the ghost from Christmas past but look like one from a old novel) that explains that they need to go on a quest to locate the broken-up pieces of a spell so that our mate Vincent can get back home.
However, all the prices of the spell and owned by some really bazaar and fun characters the game itself is none linear and what I mean by that the direction of the game can be well can be played how you want to play it, as some areas, places can take a little more play to discover what you must do and complete.
I did enjoy this game from the start as I really loved how you need to play certain moves to get an item which will help you progress through the game.
There was one point very early in the game where you needed to locate a part for one of the characters and it was being guarded by a raven and to get it to move you needed to try and lure it away with some French cheese but to get the cheese you needed to get it from someone else the whole game I feel is a bloody good way to get the brain ticking over and did make me laugh as the story was fun and engaging.
Going back to the spells you need to get these in either two ways you either going to be a good person or a bad person depending how you want to help the person who sets a task for you to complete, the question is are you simply going to steal or help the poor soul, but one thing you have to remember you are a criminal after all and this is what got you placed in this situation, so think before you play your next move.
If you have played point and click games before the controls are very similar to them you can click on the objects and interact with then take, use look and any other option you get offered.
In order to progress in the game you’ll have to take part in some very weird game called bell and bones, which is like a strange version of chess/drafts, I wasn’t a fan of these games and could possibly be a nice little distraction for other players however I tried to side step these mini games within the game, lol sorry I just hated playing them it had to make my brain think more than it should.

Infinity Strash: DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai Review
