Atlus has a strong year ahead with titles like Vanillaware’s strategy RPG Unicorn Overlord and Studio Zero’s Metaphor ReFantazio. However, it’s possible that something that another title could be announced involving Soul Hackers 2 director Eiji Ishida.
Speaking to 4Gamer.net (translation via Gematsu) for its end-of-year interviews, Ishida discussed his ambitions for 2024. “I’m currently involved in an unannounced title. While the timing of its announcement has yet to be decided, I’m working hard alongside the director toward its completion. Please give us your support when that time comes.”
Interestingly, producer Shinjiro Takada, who has worked on the Growlanser series and spin-offs like Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor, said “We will release Unicorn Overlord from Vanillaware, as well as one other title. At the same time, I would like to prepare for future projects.” It’s unknown whether this new title is the same as Ishida’s, but the two have worked together before on Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, so it’s possible.
As for what this unannounced project could be, it may be a follow-up toShin Megami Tensei 5, which launched in November 2021 for Nintendo Switch. On top of a positive critical reception (check out our review here), it sold over one million units as of April 2022. Time will tell, so stay tuned for more details in the new year.

Lift isn’t your standard heist movie. The trademarks of the genre – a slick ensemble (here led by Kevin Hart), impossible odds, and a deliciously evil target (ruthless banker Jorgensen, played by Jean Reno) – are all present but, as Hart tells GamesRadar+, there are a few more wildcards to help set it apart from its sticky-fingered peers.
Final Fantasy 14's third and final Fan Festival of the Endwalker expansion just took place in Tokyo over the weekend. While there was a surprise lack of release date for upcoming expansion Dawntrail, we did get to see tons of neat stuff: female hrothgar, artsy class Pictomancer, and a bizarro cyberpunk world that has me wondering just what the hell the Warrior of Light is getting up to on his summer vacation.
Anyone who’s been anticipating the release of Final Fantasy 14 on Xbox Series X|S doesn’t have much longer to wait, as director and producer Naoki Yoshida (aka Yoshi-P) has confirmed that the open beta will begin next month.
The director and producer of Final Fantasy 14, Naoki Yoshida (also known as Yoshi-P), has revealed that he’s not announcing the exact release date for the Dawntrail expansion right now, since he doesn’t want it to get delayed like Endwalker previously did.
The Final Fantasy 14 Fan Festival is still ongoing in Tokyo, and while its next expansion, Dawntrail, has received tons of new details, a release date isn’t one of them. Producer/director Naoki Yoshida explained why on the first day, confirming that there’s an internal date but that the team wants to ensure it’s as “fine-tuned” as possible before sharing.
Google accounts are considered safe if the password is strong enough. Well, that is old news, at least that is what this new report is saying. According to CloudSek, hackers have found a way to access Google accounts without passwords! So, is your Google account safe from hackers? The report says that hackers have used a form of malware that utilises third-party cookies to illegally enter users' Google accounts and they have free run on whatever data that it has. In effect, the potential to compromise private and professional lives of millions of users is very much there.

Supermassive Games has made quite a name for itself. After the success of Until Dawn, the studio has continued with similar gameplay experiences. We’ve seen the team bring out titles like The Dark Pictures Anthology, a series of games that played out similar to Until Dawn. However, you might be surprised to learn that Until Dawn was not the original development team responsible for getting this project off the ground. Instead, the developer responsible initially for this horror game was Sony’s London Studio.
You wouldn't download a train—but you might conceivably want to repair one. Those worries have led to a massive controversy in Poland, as train manufacturer Newag has come under fire for likely adding DRM-style protection to stop its vehicles from being repaired at competitor facilities.
