Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth details battle system, job change system, character-exclusive jobs, and new jobs

It looks as though we have our first big leak from this year's The Game Awards. According to billbil-kun, who reliably leaks gaming information via Dealabs, one game we'll be seeing more of this week is a brand new title under the EA Originals label.

FromSoftware recently received a gong for Elden Ring at the Japanese PlayStation Partners awards, as part of which producer Yasuhiro Kitao picked up the trophy and said a select few words to the press. Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth is looking to start  2024 with a bang in January, and not only because the developers say it's so freaking long. As Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio had already announced, it's also packing in performances by Daniel Dae Kim (Lost, Hawaii Five-0) and Danny Trejo (Machete, Desperado) for the English version's voice over. During today's PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted, RGG brought out a new English language trailer with a first look at Kim and Trejo's roles.

Publisher SEGA and developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have released the English-dubbed story trailer for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, which features the debut performances from Daniel Dae Kim as Masataka Ebina and Danny Trejo as Dwight Mendez.

The critically acclaimed action-adventure game Batman: Arkham Knight is getting a new update very soon. 

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth features the biggest map in the Yakuza franchise. Marking the series' first venture outside of Japan, the upcoming title will transport players to the tourist hotspot of Hawaii — Honolulu City, to be exact. Developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio claims that the vast new stage is more than three times the size of Yakuza: Like a Dragon's Isezaki Ijincho, the suburb where the afro-haired Kasuga Ichiban was introduced. That means, the Hawaii map is nearly nine times the size of the Kamurocho district, the series' primary Japanese setting punctuated by shops, restaurants, and nightclubs, where we dabbled in action-packed illicit acts through the eyes of Kazuma Kiryu, the series' main protagonist who keeps getting pulled back into the life of crime.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth's Hawaii will be the biggest Yakuza map to date, coming in at three times the size of Yakuza: Like a Dragon's Isezaki Ijincho and nine times the size of series mainstay Kamurocho.

Despite sharing a setting and game engine, the subseries has been fairly disconnected from the larger franchise, but finally has a proper crossover, which is good news for fans of both series. The games, previously known as in its Western releases, starred Kazuma Kiryu for the first seven mainline entries, which were beat-em-up style action RPGs. introduced the new hero Ichiban Kasuga and switched to a turn-based JRPG format., a detective genre spinoff, used the original combat style and followed Takayuki Yagami.
