The Elder Gods were pretty useless in both Mortal Kombat timelines. In the original trilogy, they kinda just sat back and allowed Shao Kahn to decimate entire civilizations, even invading Earthrealm despite losing the Mortal Kombat tournament. When they do get off their asses to do something, it's usually already too late. And that's not to get into the whole Shinnok ordeal. Long story short, they drop the ball a lot.
In a recent Developer Live Chat with the Community Council for Hardcore Classic, Blizzard Developers announced that Random Dungeon Finder and Default Quest Helper is coming to Wrath Classic in the next major update.Timestamped at 38:52 when it is announced The Random Dungeon Finder was a major topic of discussion at the launch of Wrath Classic, where Blizzard said the game would not launch with the feature. Back in April of 2022, in an IGN Interview, Blizzard explained that the reason they weren't going to implement RDF at launch was because of the spirit of WoW Classic.
