‘s next major update is here, allowing players to befriend Daisy Duck and adding a ton of new items and activities into the game.
Gameloft announced the news in a recent developer update video, revealing that the game’s next free update, titled “Thrills & Frills,” is out on May 1, 2024, and will include an all-new Friendship Quest line with Daisy Duck. Players will have to help Daisy to earn their own Boutique, which they can then use to sell custom designs, unlock new items to customize, or share their designs with friends.
Alongside the content update, Gameloft also outlined changes to the game’s multiplayer mode, including the ability to take selfies with friends as well as do activities like fishing, gardening, mining, cooking, and crafting together.
Besides the free update coming in the form of “Thrills & Frills,” Disney Dreamlight Valley’s paid content is also arriving on May 1. For owners of the Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time Expansion Pass, Act II, titled “The Spark of Imagination,” will launch alongside the base game update.
Act II of the game’s expansion pass will dive deeper into the mysteries of Eternity Isle and include Oslwad the Lucky Rabbit as a companion. Completing the quests in the new expansion will upgrade players’ Royal Hourglass, which can be used to unlock new decorations and figurines in the game.
