Baldur's Gate 3's voice actors can't get enough of their characters either, and have started making them playlists for our enjoyment

Baldur's Gate 3 found massive success following its jump from early access and into full 1.0 release back in August 2023, and the actor who plays the fan-favorite high-elf vampire Astarion has especially felt the enthusiasm from fans. Played by actor Neil Newbon, the character would become something of an icon for the game, especially after the infamous viral moment from developer Larian Studios' online showcase before launch. During an interview with The Gamer, Neil Newbon spoke about the massive response he felt from fans in the lead-up to launch and afterward, which led him to make a "support group" for his fellow Baldur's Gate 3 actors who might be finding the abrupt increase in attention toward their careers overwhelming.

The new voice of Wario — or at least, the person behind his grumpy moustachioed mouth in WarioWare: Move It! — looks to be Kevin Afghani, the actor also cast as the new voices of both Mario and Luigi.

The actors behind Astarion, Shadowheart, and Lae'zel have pitched their own Baldur's Gate 3 DLC, and it's a Stardew Valley-like featuring the community's favourite imp Bing Bong.

The Baldur's Gate 3 playerbase has found a bunch of the rare scenes and voice line variations in the game "a lot quicker" than expected, says Karlach actor Samantha Béart. This is despite the game having a ton of different scenes that only play out in rare circumstances - something the team seemed to have anticipated taking fans longer to discover.
