Just over a year ago, Tango Gameworks and Xbox released Hi-Fi Rush, a musical delight that seemed to come out of nowhere. Hi-Fi Rush received almost universal acclaim – it was wholly unique, polished, and tightly paced. It was also like nothing developer Tango Gameworks had ever made before, and seemingly made explicitly for Xbox Game Pass. It followed closely in the footsteps of games like Psychonauts 2 and Pentiment, neither of which match the profile of the big, blockbuster AAAs that move millions upon millions of copies, and yet they were beloved anyway. Taken as a whole, they lent credibility and prestige to Xbox Game Pass as an accessible library of well-supported, beautifully crafted art.

Playing through the strange, puzzle-filled world of can often be tense, but the intriguing triple-layer structure of the game is perfectly designed to draw people ever deeper into its world. has arguably quickly become one of the best Metroidvanias currently available to play, and its unique take on the genre will hopefully inspire future titles in turn.

Wednesday, May 15 has some fun new for fans of the game to solve and if you're not careful it could be a quick loss. There are some solid misdirections in today's game, especially if you're a tech-bro. Just take your time and make sure you've got a solid four before clicking Submit.

Having to choose to pull for Wanderer or Baizhu in 4.6 can be tough, especially when considering the two characters can provide significant benefits to players' team comps – even if they exercise fairly different roles in parties. Both characters have been available in the game for quite some time, with Wanderer arriving as a playable unit in Version 3.3 and Baizhu making his debut in Version 3.6. Both of these characters in 4.6 banners have many pros, though they also have some cons that should be considered by players before making a decision.

Despite its rekindled popularity, just can't seem to catch a break as Bethesda's latest update manages to break the game even more, angering veterans and newcomers alike. Following the success of Prime Video's streaming series, has seen a massive resurgence in players as the most recent dedicated single-player RPG in the franchise and while that's been a boon for the community, the recent «next-gen» patches have only hampered the experience. The latest release, which was meant to fix many of the game's most recently introduced problems, has only managed to make things worse.

As promised and/or threatened, depending on your perspective, open world game Fallout 4 has gotten some new graphics tweaks and bug fixes to smooth out the bumps caused by its previous “next gen update”. The update broke a bunch of mods, delayed a few interesting overhaul projects like Fallout London, and generally made everyone shake their fists at the sky and shout “Howaaaard!” Remember folks: auteur theory unduly credits a single creative for a group effort - the dice that Todd rolls every time he decides whether or not to break the game are also clearly to blame here.

The only thing I’ve stuck to regularly over the last twelve years is breathing, and I often forget to do even that. So it’s with all the awe and appreciation in the world that I dove into the demo for retro RPG Whispers In The Moss. It's been in development for twelve years, from solo dev Uncultured Games. It's set in a vaguely ancient Rome-inspired fantasy world brought to life through intricate and inventive ASCII, and scored with homages to the classics. Ah, but how does it play? You exclaim with evident interest, I assume.
