It's Halloween, and that means it's the season for spooky events and crossovers in the video game world.

In the same way that YouTube and Instagram are pushing vertical short-form video to try and keep up with Tiktok, it seems Call of Duty wants to emulate Fortnite as a game where you can be Goku doing the Griddy. CoD will be introducing skins straight out of Diablo 4 and other out-there fictional universes in its upcoming Halloween-themed season.

The developer has just announced that it will no longer update Evil Dead with new content, thanking the game’s fans for their support. If you’re worried about playing online, servers should stay up for now.

However, online servers will remain active.

Saber Interactive has announced it's ending development of last year's Evil Dead: The Game — meaning no new content will be produced and the planned Switch version is now cancelled.

The next Dead by Daylight chapter will be licensed, and the pre-existing character coming to the game is a pretty big bet: the Xenomorph from Alien. The Xenomorph is one of the most iconic movie monsters in existence, making its debut in 1979’s Alien, and showing up in Aliens, Alien 3, and Alien Resurrection. The terrifying space creature has also appeared in Alien: Isolation, a horror video game set fifteen years after the events of the original film.
