Ash Ketchum’s final episodes of the Pokemon anime will be added to Netflix in September.
Announced at San Diego Comic-Con, the final episodes of the show starring Ash and Pikachu will come to Netflix in English across America and Latin America on September 8.
It was first announced last year that Ash Ketchum’s arc as the protagonist of the Pokemon anime will come to a close after 25 years.
A new series focusing on a new cast of characters exploring the Paldea region and beyond, will begin later this year. A trailer for the new series, which stars Friede and his partner Pokémon, Captain Pikachu, as well as protagonists Liko and Roy, was also shown off as part of Comic-Con.

An extended 10-minute clip from the English dub of the new anime series was also posted to the official Pokemon YouTube channel.
The series is currently being broadcast in Japan. Typically the English dub of the previous Pokemon anime series would arrive in English-speaking territories around 6-to-9 months following its broadcast in Japan.
The Pokémon anime first debuted in 1997 in Japan and in 1998 in the US. As of 2022, Ash and Pikachu have appeared in almost 1,300 episodes.
While other protagonists have been featured in spin-offs, this marks the end of a continuous storyline that will be over 25 years old when it concludes.

A leaker suggests that the Apple Watch Ultra 2 will be available on a black titanium finish alongside a standard version and a new pink color option for the Series 9.
