Make memeified versions of Hideo Kojima and Gabe Newell fight in this bonkers Steam Next Fest roguelike

I beat Hideo Kojima. Not in a physical fight, because he's probably across the other side of the globe right now and, if I did ever bump into him, my first instinct wouldn't be to throw hands. And not in a metaphorical, "I overcame Death Stranding" kinda way. I beat Hideo Kojima, or his memeified counterpart, in a videogame demo.

Huge Free Fallout 76 Expansion Hopes to Capitalise on the TV Show's Success Next Week | Push Square

It’s crazy to think there was a time when we awarded Fallout 76 a 3/10 – but credit where credit’s due, the game’s come a long way since then. To be fair, the improvements couldn’t have come at a better time: the title’s now enjoying a resurgence in popularity, following the success of Amazon’s television show adaptation. Time for a big expansion, then? You bet – and this one’s due out next week, from 12th June, and free.

@Jimmer-jammer I beat the mission where the Foreign Swordsman is the final boss, but I think the NPC assisting me was bugged because he just stood there during the whole thing! But I found it a bit incongruous that Harris referred to my character's previous potential assassination attempt as «harassment» and offered me some information on my Blade Twin in exchange for assisting his escape from the area, why would he want to make a deal with me under those circumstances?!

Charming action-RPG Cat Quest 3 releases this August and there's a Steam Next Fest demo now

I'm a little sheepish about how much I'm looking forward to Cat Quest 3. It's neither big budget and mainstream, nor a conceptually thrilling indie. If the first two games are anything to go by, it'll be a paint-by-numbers action-RPG with simple combat, lots of grind, and endless cat and dog puns.

7 Reasons I Stopped Pre-Ordering Games (And You Should Too)

It's easy to get excited about a new game and jump the gun with a pre-order to secure your copy and take advantage of any pre-release bonuses. But this decision can sometimes come back to haunt you. In the modern era, there aren't a lot of reasons to pre-order games at all (in fact, there are more reasons not to).

5 Reasons I Love Playing Retro Games (And You Should Too)

When asking the people around me why they play retro video games, they all gave the same reason—nostalgia. That got me wondering what else keeps players reaching for games from the 80s to the early 2000s. Here are some of my own, not-as-nostalgia-based reasons for loving these time capsules of art and tech.

Blumhouse's Horror Games Finally Have Me Excited About The Genre Again

During opening night of Summer Game Fest 2024, Blumhouse Games revealed a teaser showcase for its upcoming slate of new horror titles, and it looks like fans of the genre are in for a real treat. Blumhouse is known for blockbuster movies like,, andhowever, the publisher's first lineup of games are a far cry from what I expected from Blumhouse, and I couldn't be more excited.
